Happy Mother's Day!! Surprise!!! This photo was taken out the back window at 8:30am on Sunday. It warmed (?) up to 40 later but most of the snow was still there. This morning, there were just a few places where the sun doesn't hit. So, it was a good day to stay indoors and work on my DGD's quilt. I need 35 blocks and I have 28 completed. Not long now and I will start sewing them together. The picture below shows my planned border treatment. I am looking forward to more progress this week.
Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day and did the things you love best. Hop on back to Judy's blog to see more inspirations from quilters all over this great country and world!!
Happy Stitching!
Yikes! When will spring finally get here? It is chilly in Green Bay, too, but no snow. Your quilt is charming. Love the sweet colors.
ReplyDeleteThat photo is beautiful--but will be glad when you don't see that again for a while! The quilt is lookin' pretty!
ReplyDeleteOMG, snow again? We just had cold weather and turned my furnace back on...
ReplyDeleteJust a few more blocks and you are done, way to go!
